PrivateDAO paid deployments are protected through signed organization-bound licenses, feature gating, server-side activation, usage limits, audit logs, and tamper-evident verification.
Protection Model
- Paid modules require a signed license record.
- Licenses are bound to an organization, plan, issue time, expiry time, and capacity limits.
- License signatures are verified before paid features run.
- Modified or unverifiable licenses fail closed.
- Failed validation disables paid capabilities until reactivation.
- Suspicious activation attempts can be logged and reviewed.
What Fail-Closed Means
If a paid license is missing, expired, modified, or unverifiable:
- paid workflow capacity is not granted
- advanced intelligence stays disabled
- private deployment features stay disabled
- the activation status can be marked for review
- the customer is routed to official support for reactivation
What PrivateDAO Does Not Do
PrivateDAO does not intentionally damage customer systems, delete customer files, corrupt customer databases, or execute destructive behavior inside a customer environment.
This is deliberate. Commercial protection must protect PrivateDAO intellectual property while preserving customer trust, legal defensibility, and operational safety.
Deployment Protection
For private deployments, stronger protection can include:
- organization-bound signed license files
- server-side activation checks
- offline grace periods
- metered proof-event limits
- module-level feature gates
- deployment fingerprints
- private package distribution
- contract-backed use restrictions
- audit logs for activation and license failures
Buyer-Facing Summary
PrivateDAO protects paid modules with signed licenses and tamper-evident activation. If a license is modified, paid features stop instead of exposing or damaging customer data.
