Purpose
This document summarizes what PrivateDAO can already prove in a competition setting, what it can support credibly, and what still remains outside the current repository.
It is a readiness note, not a claim that every adjacent system already exists.
Current Readiness Table
| Layer | Status | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | On-chain governance lifecycle | Strong | Commit, reveal, finalize, execute, delegation, veto, cancel, and treasury checks are implemented and evidenced. | | Security reasoning | Strong | Threat model, coverage map, replay analysis, failure modes, and protocol spec are present. | | Reviewer surface | Strong | README, Proof Center, Judge Mode, security page, and reviewer map are aligned. | | Live devnet evidence | Strong | Baseline live proof, dedicated V3 live proof, proof registry, and release manifest are all present and verified. | | Operations documentation | Strong | Monitoring, incident response, cutover, risk register, and audit handoff are present. | | Android review surface | Strong | Android-native app and docs exist as a first-class counterpart. | | Strategy control-plane framing | Strong | Blueprint, adaptor boundary, risk policy, and strategy operations are explicit. | | Strategy engine implementation | Not in repo | The repository defines the control plane, not the live strategy engine. | | Live performance / APY evidence | Not in repo | This remains a paired strategy responsibility. | | External audit | Pending | No external audit is claimed. | | Mainnet rollout | Pending | Cutover discipline is documented, but rollout itself is not claimed. |
Why This Still Scores Well
PrivateDAO is already unusually strong in areas most hackathon and diligence reviewers struggle to verify quickly:
- real protocol behavior
- real proof links
- additive V3 hardening with dedicated Devnet evidence
- explicit failure reasoning
- explicit residual risks
- explicit operations discipline
That makes it stronger than a typical “demo-first” submission even where the paired strategy layer still remains outside the repo.
What This Repository Is Best Positioned To Claim
PrivateDAO can credibly claim that it is:
- a real governance security protocol
- a private approval layer for treasury-sensitive decisions
- a protocol with both baseline and additive V3 hardening paths proven on Devnet
- a serious control plane for a USDC strategy stack
- a review-ready and audit-friendly Solana project
What Should Not Be Overclaimed
This repository should not overclaim:
- live strategy alpha
- realized APY
- completed external audit
- finished mainnet deployment
